Everton have completed the signing of South African midfielder Stephen Pienaar on a twelve month loan deal.

The 25-year-old will join Everton from Borussia Dortmund, subject to a work permit after failing to make an impact in the Bundesliga.

Pienaar joined Dortmund from Ajax in 2006 and has made 25 appearances for the club.
